EagleDream Health – EagleDream Health Staffer Interviewed for Choosing Wisely Article
EagleDream Health Chief Medical Officer Dr. Howard Beckman was recently interviewed for an article about Choosing Wisely, an initiative of the ABIM Foundation. The article discusses the work of Massachusetts Health Quality Partners (MHQP) and the steps they are taking to focus attention on appropriate care in Massachusetts. As part of this effort, MHQP enlisted the help of Dr. Beckman and his colleagues at EagleDream Health (formerly Focused Medical Analytics), to analyze claims data to identify areas of high clinical variation.
In the article, Dr. Beckman talks about MHQP’s Practice Pattern Variation Analysis (PPVA) and how it complements the Choosing Wisely initiative.
