Partner of Cranberry Capital, Al has always appreciated that entrepreneurs that are pursuing their dreams are not always equipped to deal with the administrative challenges of accounting, tax, treasury, human resources, benefits, equity plans, and risk management. Cranberry Capital can help management traverse any or all of these challenges. Al currently serves as Chief Administrative Officer and Senior Vice President of Sweetwater Energy, Inc. He leads all aspects of accounting, treasury, tax, financial reporting and human resources.

Prior to Sweetwater, Al served as Senior Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer, and Controller of PAETEC Holding since March 2007. He served as Senior Vice President and Controller as well as Vice President of Finance and Controller PAETEC from July 1998 to August 2004. In his capacity as Senior Vice President and Controller, he led all aspects of accounting and financial reporting. Al previously served as Director of Public Reporting for US Foodservice and Audit Manager for the international accounting firm of PriceWaterhouse, LLP.

Al received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Delaware and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a recipient of the 2004 Rochester Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 Award recognizing his exceptional community involvement and charitable contributions accomplished while holding a thriving career in Accounting and Management.

Al serves on the Board of Directors of Golisano Children’s Hospital at Strong, University of Rochester Medical Center. Additionally, he is an active volunteer and chairs the Advisory Board for the Perinton Recreation & Parks Department.
