Clerio Vision is developing the next generation of femtosecond laser technology that has the potential to revolutionize the vision correction market by enabling non-invasive correction of the refractive index in human cornea.

Clerio’s technology can reach the patients who are currently ineligible for LASIK or are afraid of eye surgery. This group is estimated to be up to 100 million people in the US and 1 billion worldwide.  Due to its non-invasive nature, we believe that the “LIRIC (Laser Induced Refractive Index Change)” solution will expand the total penetration rate for refractive surgeries from currently 2% to more than 10% by helping to overcome the patients’ reluctance to the surgery and by addressing less severe vision impairment earlier.
