Miles Barr is cofounder and CEO of Ubiquitous Energy, a technology company commercializing transparent photovoltaics. Barr holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from MIT where he developed chemical vapor deposition technologies for fabrication of organic electronics on everyday surfaces. At MIT, Barr was a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow and winner of the prestigious Lemelson-MIT Student Prize in 2012 for his innovations in solar energy and organic electronics. Barr was also named to the 2014 Forbes 30 Under 30 list in Energy & Industry. Prior to MIT, he majored in chemical engineering, mathematics, and music at Vanderbilt University.
